I always get the grilled steak salad. It's amazing. new manager Rene is very welcoming. I come here often and it's only gotten better.
I've had my fair share of micheladas over the years, in all kinds of places and restaurants , but nothing and I truly mean nothing has ever come close to the one I had recently at Antigua Mexican Restaurant. From the very first sip, I knew this wasn't just a drink it was an experience. The flavors were perfectly balanced, tangy, spicy, refreshing, and bold all at once. It somehow managed to be exactly what I didn't even know I was craving. But what made it even more special was the bartender, Miguel. Not only does he clearly know his craft, but he made me feel genuinely welcomed. You can tell when someone pours heart into what they do, and Miguel absolutely does. His kindness and attention to detail just elevated the whole moment. It's not every day that a drink sticks with you, but this michelada did and honestly, I'm still thinking about it. El Jefe tacos and strawberry mojitos from Antigua fix anything going wrong for me. The service is great, the food tastes fantastic, the restaurant is beautiful, and we are absolutely repeat customers. This review is after my third visit - and it has been consistently excellent every time!
Antigua never disappoints! Always enjoy the margaritas and the tacos. Authentic Mexican food I'm not afraid to bring my friends and family from the SW. Service has always been excellent. Casual vibe, but celebratory enough for a fun special occasion.
My opinion has changed about this place. The management and service has seemed to be revamped and the food here is great, always hits the spot. The decoration is great for taking pictures.
The best margaritas I ever had!!! Get the El Patron with or without jalapeño. We always have amazing service. We love the cheese dip, the guac made at your table on the weekends is a generous portion and you can't go wrong with the following; Shrimp Quesadilla Steak or chicken Fajitas TexMex Enchiladas and the Smothered Burrito.
Really outstanding Mexican food and incredible cocktails! The service was great as well. Our server was absolutely lovely and she made great recommendations for us. The steak dishes were top-notch and cooked perfectly. We had four of the different margaritas and all were delicious and flavorful. You could tell the bartender knew what he was doing, and that the drinks were made with love. My favorite was the one with the roasted pineapple. We will definitely be back!
